Great British Galleries: Yorkshire Sculpture Park

Spring has sprung, the grass has ris, and if the thought of being a bit cooped up in a gallery holds mixed-feelings for you then fear not! We’ve got your en-plein-air needs sorted. Meet the Yorkshire Sculpture Park, probably the best thing about Yorkshire besides the alleged tales of Yorkshire puddings as bar snacks. It’s been called “the finest exhibition site for sculpture in the world” and we’d be hard pressed to envision better – 500 acres of rolling hills and a rural northern landscape puts four white walls to shame any day.
