Hennessy Youngman: Relational Aesthetics

Posted by Rob Alderson,

There were many highlights at our On:Activism talk last night but a particular joy was Francesca Gavin introducing me to the work of Henessy Youngman, aka Philadelphia-based artist Jayson Musson. The wonderfully-drawn character here takes on relational aesthetics with a clarity and wit most contemporary arts commentators can only dream of. Watch and enjoy, but be aware that some of the language might raise eyebrows in the office.
