James Bridle is a hyper-clever master of all trades fascinated by new media and the future of publishing. On his blog he writes clever, interesting things about his specialist subject, but he also does really interesting things, like making Rorschmap. It’s an endlessly fascinating tool which turns Google maps into a kaleidoscope, or, as he puts it: “Rorschmap is cartographic navel-gazing, a reframing of the map. It will not help you find anything. We are bored with your squares and your margins. We want new shapes and new dimensions….” Top map mischief James – and he’s speaking at our conference – YAY!
