Playful typography and a smart but free sensibility in the work of Prague-based designer Jan Horčik

Date
21 October 2015

Hailing from the beautiful yet stag-do blighted Czech Republic capital, Prague, designer Jan Horčik has built up a brilliant portfolio of crisp, considered design work and illustration. Our very own art director Ali Hanson stumbled upon Jan’s Tumblr and was drawn in by the playful typography and the sense that the designer works without constraints, making work that manages to look clean but ooze freedom. When he’s not turning out these clever designs, Jan’s also one of the two dudes behind the Heavyweight Type Services foundry, flexing his font muscles in bold and brilliant formations.
