Forward-thinking yet classic graphic design from Jan Novák

Date
26 January 2016

Hailing from Prague, graphic designer Jan Novák creates work that manages to blend an experimental approach to typography with a clean, measured feel that gives any project a certain gravitas. We’re presenting a range of projects from his portfolio, including a beautiful catalogue design inspired by the Spanish mountains. In a less organic turn, his typeface Visual is a wonderfully spiky piece of design, taking a semi-pixel approach that feels both retro and modern. Whether it’s print design, typefaces or comprehensive identity systems, Jan’s work blends classic approaches and forward-thinking new ideas.
