Photography: Karsten Wegener makes the wurst art around

Date
8 August 2013

Jeff Koons sculptures made from real sausage, Van Gogh’s Sunflowers made from real sausage, and Edvard Munch’s The Scream… you get the idea. Karsten Wegener is an advertising photographer based between Hamburg and Berlin producing big-budget images for high-profile clients. In his spare time he likes to work on a variety of weird and wonderful projects, one of which involves creating famous works of art from wurst. Why? Why not. They’re ridiculous, hilarious and, we’d imagine, taste great when you’re finished shooting them.
