Printmaker Kate Gibb's new site includes a lovely work in progress selection
It was way back in 2008 that we first posted London-based printmaker and illustrator Kate Gibb on the site and so the recent launch of her new website gave us a welcome excuse to check back in with her. Alongside her portfolio which is full to bursting with awesome work for the likes of Pentagram, Apple and Penguin Books, she’s added a “Work in Progress” section which allows us to scroll though close-ups of her recent work, indulging our fetishistic love of all things printed. It’s a lovely alternative way to engage with Kate’s super skills, out of context but no less sumptuous. You can basically smell that fresh ink…
