Maciek Pozoga's photography artfully avoids categorisation
If you ask me, the beauty of Maciek Pozoga’s work lies in the fact that it can’t be pinned down. He’s eternally “juggling between documentary, art and fashion,” as his website explains, resulting in a style which grows “from a specific conception of documentary images, naturalistic and authentic but tinged with poetry and humour.”
This magical equation has won him commissions from Le Monde, The New York Times, Kenzo and Nike – brands and publications with his unique blend of holiday snapshot-esque moments captured on film and carefully assembled still-lifes channelling the contemporary alongside the classic.
Maciek’s ethereal, powerful images hit the nail on the head every time. Here are the latest updates from the man with the talent, diverse and unique but ineffably powerful in their own way.
