Another artist to catch our eye at Frieze was Marine Hugonnier, whose work across a whole range of media, explores the relationship between language and image, and the dynamic, deceptive impact both can have on understanding. The particular pieces which stood out were these notorious newspaper front pages, where the iconic images so-long seared on our collective conscience are replaced by blocks of colour, themselves oddly arresting.
