Maintaining a collaborative output based on shared experience, photographer Antony Crook and the Scottish band Mogwai present the exhibition and film Mogwai Japan: Knock for Knock. The mutuality between Crook’s visuals and the band’s sound provoke a simultaneous “stillness and calm” and “intensity and weight,” evident in their depiction of the intimacy of a landscape and its inhabitants that both parties encountered while travelling in Japan.
