Promoting academia with zig-zags, giant facial features and old trash: a masterclass from designer Nejc Prah

Date
8 October 2015

Acid shades amongst grainy blacks and whites, abstract noses and surreal cut-out fruits adorn designer Nejc Prah’s posters for pecha kucha, hardware catalogues and teen education programmes. The Yale MFA graduate takes academia on quite the trip, through twisted imagery, 80s club poster-esque typography and fourth dimension landscapes of patterns and black non-horizons.

Nejc graduated this summer with a series of prize-winning posters under his belt, receiving accolades from the Type Directors Club and Chaumont International Poster Festival amongst others. He is a member of Ansambel studio in Ljubljana with fellow designers, photographers and illustrators and we can’t wait to see where his work goes next.
