Nigel Peake

Last weekend I had the pleasure of listening to Nigel Peake give a small talk about his new book, In The Wilds, recently published by Princeton Architectural Press. It strikes innumerable chords with me, being as it is a reflection upon nature and a rural upbringing – ‘from the trees, fields, lakes and rolling hills that define the country landscape, to the farm houses, tractors, fences, and telegraph poles that build it’. It’s a thoughtful and beautiful collection of work, and should be investigated at your nearest convenience.
