Numen/For Use: Tape Melbourne

Posted by Maya Davies,

Stretched, pulled, pinned, hung in vast rooms or between buildings – these extraordinary sculptural installations created by Numen/For Use in Melbourne seem to defy structural possibility. I mean, they’re made from self-adhesive tape so this shouldn’t be achievable, right? But somehow it is. When you glimpse the silhouettes of people crawling through and exploring these suspended spaces, it looks almost as if Spiderman has weaved web-like human cocoons.
