Incase you’ve missed that hilarious Facebook meme that’s been going around with the NWA stamp saying “Straight outta Clapton,” or “Straight outta Hitchin” or whatever, or indeed any of the other internet hype, today sees the launch of the movie Straight Outta Compton. It tells the story of NWA and their album of the same name, and a bunch of illustrators have paid tribute to it in a series of fan-art illustrations. The hip-hop loving bunch includes Charlotte Mei, Pete Sharp, Kyle Platts, Thomas Slater and Sam Taylor, who all applied their own distinctive styles to the iconic cover. The images were originally published over on Noisey.
