Wonder filled and strange vignette paintings by Rob Nicol. Perspex and acrylic is used to great effect and is at a happy contradiction with the archaic subject matter. Other things at odd in Nicol’s portfolio include the frequent sightings of dismemberment and other violent ends depicted in such nice and dreamy colours. Seriously good stuff.
