The Guardian and Observer Book Swap

Date
16 September 2011

Do you find yourself creepily reading a stranger’s Kindle over their shoulder on the train? Unless some people enjoy our company when trying to read, I imagine that most of the time we literature lurkers are quite annoying. From this weekend there’ll be no more need for such behaviour as The Guardian launches its Observer Book Season with a nationwide book swap. 15,000 books will be scattered all over the country for you to discover and keep, as long as you put one of your own favourite books back into the system. Keep your eyes peeled!
