Australian photographer Ward Roberts has a remarkable ability to produce fascinating photographs which toy with your mind like a kitten swatting at a bumble bee. His Billions series, produced while he was living in Hong Kong, features high-rise buildings captured with a warped use of reflection to create an effect of infinitesimal futurism, an unnerving otherworldliness which draws you into the pictures and keeps you guessing. There’s no digital jiggery-pokery either, proving Ward is a man with an eye to die for.
