Wouter Scheublin

Posted by Bryony Quinn,

Yesterday we posted about the work of Lotty Lindeman and today it makes sense that we feature her sometimes collaborator and all-the-time workshop partner, Wouter Scheublin. The pair have worked together on a number of pieces – like this chair – but his distinct personal work is something else. Mechanised carpentry that becomes animated, like a table that can be pushed and will move away, as was the designers intention to perplex our “perception of the ordinarily static piece of furniture.”
