It’s Nice That Issue #4

October 2010

Although they evolved over time, the first six issues of the It’s Nice That magazine combined snapshots of exciting creatives we had previously championed on the site with interviews and features which allowed us to dig a little deeper into some of the biggest talents working today.

The work section of Issue Four featured Aitken & Hodge, Al Baik, Baster, Bernard Voita, Carl Kleiner, Chris Cornish, Eric Yahnker, Francis Tabary, Hans Hemmert, Infinite Library, Johnny Kelly & Matthew Cooper, Justin Kemp, La Bolleur, Lambert Kamps, Michael Johansson, Michael Landy, Nam, Owen Silverwood, Peter Grundy, Paul Blow, Qiu Yang, Rui Tenreiro, Samantha Harvey & Ana Brooks, Sebastian Errazuriz, Superumundane, Thomas Thwaites and Willy Chyr.

There were interviews with photographer Nick Knight, iconic designer Neville Brody, illustrator Noma Bar, designers-turned-filmmakers RBG6, darlings of the food world Bompas & Parr, filmmaker and writer Miranda July and design collective Troika. Adam Buxton wrote about Nice, Jez Burrows introduced us to the Print Gocco machine, illustrator Micah Lidberg told us why he’s drawn to weird stuff, Sara de Bondt celebrated the writings of Beatrice Warde, Peter Nencini showed off his collected wares, Mike Lemanski pondered what colour music is and Adrian Shaughnessy welcomed us into his record collection.
