While we’re used to seeing adverts for food, clothes and cars, it’s rare you’ll see one for something so mundane and pedestrian as cement. But Publicis South Asia has just released this spot to advertise Indian company Ambuja Cement in a funny and clever way.

In mockumentary style, the ad features WWE champion The Great Khali AKA Dalip Singh and tells his story. A man of monstrous strength, Dalip has spent his life clumsily falling through walls and floors, ruining the family home and any structure he comes into contact with. Hope is restored however when his aunt tells him to build his house using Ambuja Cement. Well made and with an excellent supporting cast, the ad hilariously reinvents cement as a product the average person should invest in.
