Andrea Zittel

Some advantageous initials do a better job of explaining the breadth of Andrea Zittel’s work then the cockeyed moniker of conceptual artist / furniture designer that I came up with. A-Z has a full and inspired portfolio from endeavours & undertakings (including bantam breeding), furniture (beautifully functional living units), wall works, structures (the habitable Indy Island), performance, and clothing (personal uniforms of the most excellent variety). Just to be clear, all very good – “A-Z designs for living.”
