Playful and bright design from Czech Republic-based Anymade Studio

Date

Some design cultures outside the UK are very familiar to us, others less so, and it’s always fascinating to get a glimpse into how others are interpreting the visual world, which is why I was immediately drawn to the Prague-based Anymade Studio.

Despite having one of my favourite flags, I know shamefully little about the Czech Republic but Anymade have piqued my interest with their bold and creative approach. Their portfolio is bursting with projects that weave brilliant bursts of colour in between digital designs and simple type. While they’ve evolved into a multi-disciplinary platform over the years, it’s their book and pamphlet design that excite me most, with playful touches and interesting layouts.
