Playfully tongue-in-cheek illustrations from Germany-based Cécile Dormeau

Date
27 August 2015

There’s an undeniable joy to French illustrator Cécile Dormeau’s gifs and illustrations, thanks to her bodaciously drawn babes that tell it like it is. Currently working and living in Germany, Cécile has worked at multiple agencies as a graphic designer and junior art director.

It’s the simplicity and frankness that I love most about these illustrations. From a tummy-suck selfie to uncontrollable hairiness, Cécile taps into the woes many of us, whatever the gender, has had at some point. Cheeky and playful, Cécile’s subtle observations work wonderfully with the voluptuous lines that cradle her brightly coloured figures.
