Quentin Jones: Dancing Chanel

Fashion film-maker Quentin Jones has collaborated with dancer Emma Chadwick, to create a short film for VogueTV. Chadwick is kitted out in Chanel’s spring/summer 2011 collection, and dances across the screen, multiplying like a pastiche of synchronised swimmers or Fantastia’s dancing Ostriches. 3 minutes of visual trickery, playful choreography, charming collage and geometric set design. Quentin has being accruing quite an impressive portfolio, and turning heads in the fashion world with her bold, surrealist work which proves that a glossy, slick aesthetic isn’t always best.
