Stunning portrait photography by Ester Grass Vergara

Date
29 October 2014

Ester Grass Vergara has been on the site before with her wonderful monochrome plants but her portraits of beautiful human beings are just as enticing. Her style is all about the crisp lines and fresh faces with wonderful tones and shadows glancing off sculpted cheekbones and glistening hair.

There’s a clear consideration behind each parted lip and tilted head in Esther’s images, yet they still avoid feeling too contrived or staged. It’s great how pared-back many of her photographs are with just the model and a plain background being used to create a striking visual. It’s this approach that makes her work feel so alluring and current.
