Playful typographic experiments and posters from designer Jakob Balint

Date
14 April 2016

Hungarian design student Jakob Balint’s website is like a digital sketchbook of his work, ideas and experiments. A mix of posters, magazine layouts and abstract compositions, Jakob’s bright colour choice matches up to his brash and bold designs.

The designer applies numbers, shapes and symbols to his mainly type-focused work that’s scattered with a couple of minimal gifs. Among the work for the faux exhibitions and editorial layouts, there’s some interesting football-themed creations. Jakob plays with the white lines seen on a pitch as well as the typography used on shirts and other sporty paraphernalia.
