Photography: Maciek Pozoga is back again with some beautiful, disarming portraits

Date
6 June 2014

So Maciek Pogoza, we meet again. It’s been nearly a year since we featured this guy’s work and let me tell you he is still ridiculously good and has been super busy producing even more super cool images.

People are his strength and with such a stark and pared-back style, his photographs are beautifully candid. Maciek has a knack for capturing a moment and suspending a story mid-air in such a way it makes the photo so compelling it makes you to know everything about it. But of course Maciek, aloof as he is, gives us nothing more. It’s what makes his work so powerful and how he manages to maintain the wonderful mystery of how he sees the world.
