Spanish studio Querida designs a cool optical catalogue

Date

Featured back in January, Barcelona-based studio Querida has had a busy few months churning out more of its stylishly colourful and well-considered design work. One of its latest projects is this catalogue for Spanish opticians, Optiques Prats which takes the form of an incredibly stylish magazine catering for the optically challenged.

The magazine was conceived by fellow Barcelona-based agency Usted, which commissioned Querida to work on the design. Presenting a range of content, On Focus #1 is minimally designed with a lovely mixture of playful type, blocks of text and bespectacled imagery. It’s hard to imagine any optician here in the UK pulling off something similar with as much panache.

Continuing Querida’s wonderful habit of documenting its work so eye-catchingly well, this time the studio use a vivid cerulean background and gridded corner combo to compliment each double spread making the whole project jump off the screen.
