Photographer Alasdair McLellan joins Instagram with first photo he took aged 13

One for all you photography buffs, British fashion photographer Alasdair McLellan has just joined Instagram. The photographer has shot for some of the biggest publications and fashion brands including all 18 of i-D’s 35th anniversary covers back in May and Margaret Howell’s AW15 campaign. The first picture posted on his account is the first photo he ever took aged 13. Plucked straight out of 1987, Alasdiar’s portrait of a young lad hiding in some grass in Tickhill, Doncaster is rare insight into his back catalogue and it’s hoped the account (already with over 2000 followers) will offer more glimmers of the photographer’s early and unseen work.
