Polish creative Lukasz Pachalko’s graphic design project addresses the issues surrounding dyslexia

Date
7 December 2015

For years people have been making links between dyslexia and creative ability and the topic has resonated with many designers in the past. As part of his masters thesis, Polish graphic designer Lukasz Pachalko decided to explore what dyslexia really is and has put his own spin on existing texts and essays to create something visually engaging.

The project addresses the issues and misconceptions surrounding dyslexia, and aims to be a support for dyslexics. Rich in Polish typography, the work consists of a guidebook, posters, illustrations of common dyslexic errors and diagnostic tests. A fairly monochromatic palette with splashes of trendy green and pink, Lukasz tries to give clarity to a topic that’s often poorly communicated.
