This month's Nicer Tuesdays explores art – join us!
This month’s Nicer Tuesdays will tackle the subject of art, bringing together four speakers who will each describe a different stage in the art process from education and research to curation and finally publication.
Joining us will be Arts Emergency co-founder Neil Griffiths to talk us through their mentoring scheme which encourages young students to pursue an arts education, as well as installation photographer Dan Tobin Smith, who will discuss his insane recent piece for the London Design Festival which saw him fill his studio with colour-coded clutter.
Also joining us is Jessica Vaughan, programme coordinator at Studio Voltaire, who will take us through the curation of their latest exhibition for Turner prize-nominated Marvin Gaye Chetwyn, and David McKendrick and Lee Belcher will reflect on their recent redesign of the Christie’s magazine.
As ever the beers are on us so come down for an evening of art-themed inspiration.
This event has now ended.
