Lovely updates from graphic design studio Bureau David Voss

Date
18 May 2016

Long before everyone else who’s ever been to Berlin started harping on about it, Bureau David Voss knew that Leipzig – its cooler, cheaper cousin – was the place to be. And from the looks of the studio’s portfolio, it’s played no small part in making the area look as good as we’re promised it does, working on numerous cultural projects for the city.

Alongside ongoing work with German literature magazine Edit, designed in collaboration with Studio Pandan, the agency has also been busy creating some great posters for Leipzig Festival on Art & Architecture, which see abstract compositions formed from a mix of textures and alien-like rendered shapes and forms. Elsewhere, Bureau David Voss proves to be as adroit with typography as it is with strange computer-generated landscapes, working on some simple yet innovate designs to accompany the images and a range of superb book design work.
