I’m bowled over by the images of the photographic power duo Daniele Duella and Iango Henzi who bridge the gap between editorial photography and art. Their beautiful theatrical shoots for i-D’s newly released Royalty issue caught my eye – perfectly staged East meets West compositions. Known for embracing film, the grainy quality of the images and approach to light gives them a depth and painterly feel that stands out against the abundance of super glossy commercial photography around. Stunning stuff!
