Mitch Hedberg

A lot of people might know about Mitch Hedberg, but whatever, this is supposed to be about my favourites. If you don’t know, Mitch was a stand-up comedian who died from drugs in 2005. He had one of those voices that once you are familiar with it, you hear it in your head all the time. Any stupid, boring thing will turn into one of his wise-ass punchlines; mattresses, Advil, toast, belt-loops, bagging groceries, gravity, etc. He had a kind of terrible energy on stage, like it was torture for him to be there, and his physical, vocal and humour style all matched in a bizarre way. He was fearless to tell the dumbest jokes ever and he died on April Fools day, which is kinda funny.
