Mr Bingo launches new Hate Mail project with a magnificent rap video

Date
6 July 2015

If you’ve been paying close attention you’ll remember that magical evening a few months back when illustrator Mr Bingo performed a rap about the wonders of stock imagery at our monthly Nicer Tuesdays event. If you don’t, I can happily announce that he’s back with a new one, and this time it comes with tighter rhymes, swaggy moves and extraordinarily high production values.

This magnificent film was created by Oldie in order to promote Bingo’s new Kickstarter project, Hate Mail: The Definitive Collection – the ultimate retrospective of Mr Bingo’s hugely popular Hate Mail Project. Rewards range from £15 – for which you’ll receive “THE FUCKING BOOK” – to £5,000, for which you can be Bingo’s friend for one year, sending and receiving up to 20 text messages per month, spending a minimum of six hours per month of real life hanging out, not to mention “attend each other’s birthdays and other key events” and “share secrets,” among other things. If you’re gonna launch a Kickstarter, this is the way to do it: it’s really no wonder gained £2,000 in the time it took for me to watch the video. Bingo, you win.
