The brilliant illustration of Nishant Choksi continues to make us smile
There’s a handful of illustrators out there in the world that can draw a smile from your lips even on the most depressing days of the year. Whether you’ve just been dumped, fired or found yourself the victim of one of those online pyramid schemes where you thought you were investing in the entrepreneurial pursuits of a Nigerian child, only to find out they were ripping you off.
Nishant Choksi is one such picture-drawing talent, capable of immediately elevating your mood with the briefest of flourishes from his brush and ink. The Brighton-based illustrator has been on the books at the Central Illustration Agency for a number of years meaning he’s worked commercially with the likes of The New Yorker, The New York Times, The Atlantic and Wired as well as producing personal books and stories on the side. With an undeniable flair for creating instantly communicative imagery from the simplest of lines it’s not at all hard to see what Nishant is in such high demand. Long may his witty career continue!
