Pacific Standard Time: Schwartzman Celebrates Baldessari

Posted by Bryony Quinn,

Pacific Standard Time is a conglomerate art endeavour of over 60 cultural institutions across California. The staggering list of exhibitions and events celebrate a “cultural coming of age, when local artists suddenly became global artists” with the birth of the LA art scene. In the spirit of things, John Baldessari’s giant head haunts Jason Schwarzman! Two of the best Angeleans I can think of talking about gorgonzola as a metaphor for accepting art. So. Good.
