United Visual Artists (or UVA for simplicity) have been leaving us speechless with awe for a good few years now. Everything they create with their devilishly talented hands induces the kind of slack-jawed amazement usually reserved for natural phenomena – volcanic ash clouds, the aurora borealis, childbirth. Origin, their latest project is no exception. Designed for New York’s recent Creators Project it pulsates with the emissions from over 250 metres of LEDs and responds temperamentally to the movements of viewers passing through its giant cubic structure. We reckon it’s more impressive than the arrival of your firstborn.
