Corriette did the cover of the Magazine issue that Charlotte Delarue and I designed. I love the maps series we used, so strong and colorful. Her new work is really stunning too, I love the cuts and projection experimentations.

Leslie David
Leslie David is a Paris based graphic designer. She acquired a real taste and appreciation for the fashion world while she working at Petronio Associates and Self Service Magazine. Leslie was naturally drawn to fashion and music projects on her decision to go freelance in 2008. Always excited to branch out, she recently enjoyed creating a series for illustrations for the Surface 2 Air fall 2009 clothing collection. Last year Royksöpp asked Leslie to design their comeback album, Happy Up There, for which she applied her classic drawing ability. Her style is a resolutely feminine combination of precise line, penciled geometric shapes, and soft shades. The computer is nothing but an incidental tool among the essential pencils and brushes used for her practice.
What have you got planned this week?
40% sleeping, 30% working, 10% looking for an office, 5% cooking, 8% trying to keep a social life, 4% going to the gym , 3% doing these blog posts.
What do your parents think you do?
My mum spent a day with me in my living room/office and she made realized that I spent half of the day on the phone !(with clients of course…) She just saw the bad part of my job.

Dwarf+cat+my parents.
What’s your favourite sense?
OUI, I just can’t say NON.
Tell us something people don’t know about you…
I colored my hair last week and nobody noticed, thank you friends.
Did your education count?
Of course, thanks to my education I am very polite with my dearest clients.

Anticonstitutionnellement, (wait, I think I spelt it right )
It’s the longest word in the french dictionnary, one of the first stupid things you learn at school, but you understand the meaning only 10 years later.

Mrzyk & Moriceau
Petra Mrzyk and Jean-François Moriceau are two of my favorite artists. I love black and white graphics in general and they are the masters. I’ve followed their work for a few years now and I’m never desapointed with their new projects, always super hilarious. Recently they did an amazing calendar, go and check the ephemeride on Air de Paris’ website, it’s perfect! Also check the new Sing Sang Song video for Air – that’s pop!

Kenneth Anger
I recently discovered Kenneth Anger’s work at PS1 in NYC. I’ve been totally hypnotised by his mystical and poetical films and stayed 2 hours in the dark room. I love the atmosphere, the music, and as a graphic geek, I appreciate the importance of typography in his work. The web is obviously not the best way to watch his films, but it’s better that nothing! (“Lucifer rising” and “Eaux d’artifice” are my favorites).

Andrea Crews
Andrea Crew is a collective led by my dear friend Maroussia Rebecq. They create wonderful clothing and accessories from reinterpreted second-hand clothing. I love this concept and the result is just always fantastic, personal, colorful and dynamic. Their shows are like giant parties, last time the models were literally jumping in the crowd, but fortunately for them Anna Wintour wasn’t in the first row.

Sandrine Pelletier
Sandrine is one of the funniest girls I know and actually you can easily notice that in her art. She’s Swiss, but I don’t know if she loves chocolate. I knew her crazy embroderies before knowing her and I was already a fan. For me she’s a complete artist, she can draw, sew, paint, sculpt and she’s not afraid to use new material for each project she has. On Thursday there’s the oppening of her new exhibition in Paris at galerie L.J. (12, rue Commines Paris 3e), come, come, come!
