Lucy McRae

Lucy McRae was featured on the site in 2009 as one half of LucyandBart but has now built up a trail-blazing solo portfolio. At school when we had careers advice, a body architect was not one of the job options we were shown. But Lucy McRae calls herself one and by the look of things it’s super creative, multi-disciplinary and lots of fun. It’s unsurprising she trained as a ballet dancer as her projects treat the body as a canvas, clothes horse, structural frame, experimental platform, and absorbent surface. More recently she’s turned her hand to making a music video and playing the apothecary developing a Swallowable Parfum in capsule form.
