Wallpaper* announces its list of the world’s leading designers and influencers

This week Wallpaper* shared its Power 200, a list of the world’s top design names and influencers. In previous years the list has contained just 100 names, but to mark its 200th issue the magazine has decided to double it. The core top 100 list is strictly product designers, with Barber & Osgerby and Thomas Heatherwick claiming some of the top spots.

Wallpaper*’s rankings have been made according to “influence, market value, quality and quantity of output, reputational shift and their rightness for now.” Other professions included in the Power 200 are architects, CEOs and corporate chiefs, graphic designers and interior designers. The magazine see their list as both provocative but also as “a mapping of power and influence of larger shifts and forces.” To see the full list click here
