Marie Jacotey commissioned to create prints for Assemble’s Granby Workshop

Assemble has commissioned French illustrator Marie Jacotey to create a series of prints in support of its Granby Workshop initiative.

The collective’s workshop is a new social enterprise making handmade products for homes, which launched through its Turner Prize installation: a showroom and scale model of one of the Liverpool homes Assemble is renovating with the local community. The workshop is part of a programme to engage young locals in creative projects whilst rebuilding the area.

Marie’s prints show various Granby Workshop products, from sawdust ceramics to cut-out tiles and wood-fired furniture, in use and at home, and have been created to accompany any orders from the workshop before Christmas.
