It’s kind of a given that 99.9% of the art student population of Great Britain (myself included) enjoy using manual film cameras to take photos of their beautiful friends doing crazy young things in cool places. It gets a bit samey; no one appreciates your friends more than you do so the photos don’t mean much to anyone else. However, Nicholas Pomeroy does something with his camera that makes his friends almost illuminated. His photographs remind you of fun times you’ve had with your own pals, and kind of makes you want to call them up and do something.
