We’re over-saturated with gritty New York portraits of the general public, and we’ve seen enough projects and films about middle America to last us a lifetime, so for Jack Davison to come along and give us a modern, concise window into that vast dreamworld, we are eternally grateful. This man has got an effortless, delicate talent with a camera which is even more exciting when you find out that he didn’t even study photography. He’s available for commissioned work, and if I were you I wouldn’t dawdle unless you want to find yourself at the back of a very long queue.
