Tarik Saleh: Sadness is a Blessing

Remember those epic ‘stare-outs’ you used to have with your mates at school? Well the first two minutes of the video for Lykke Li’s new single, Sadness is a Blessing by Tarik Saleh reminds me of one of those. This strangely hypnotic beginning is the followed up with four and a half minutes of dinner-induced dancing, loads of lovely photography all under the soundtrack of the Swedish beauty’s latest offering. If that wasn’t enough, learning about Tarik himself (who was one of Sweden’s most prominent graffiti artists in the 90s) is reward enough for finding this gem.
