Also in the UKMVA Best New Director running is the wonderfully-named Ian Pons Jewell, a UCCA Farnham graduate who’s carving out a real name for himself as a director devastatingly adept at working across various genres. It might not be his best-known work, but this video for the Crystal Fighters track Follow is imaginative, deliciously weird, and really well put-together.
