So the UK Music Video Awards will be handed out tonight, and the last nominee for Best New Director is the enigmatically-named Us. Christopher Barrett and Luke Taylor met on the graphic design course at Kingston University and since graduating in 2007 they have been building an impressively varied portfolio, and they have an ability to create tone and atmosphere that is second to none. There are few better examples of matching a video to a song than this effort for for Frederick Webb’s Between Us Now. Good luck to all six!
