Adelina Lahr
Adelina Lahr is a Zurich-based illustrator working across editorial, narrative and reportage. Combining analogue drawing, painting and printmaking with digital techniques, she addresses themes of feminism, gender roles, ageing and relationships throughout her work – often beginning with observation and interviews. In weaving lived experience and illustration, Adelina’s tableaus are resonant, quietly powerful and partly melancholy. A recent project at a residency in Valencia explored the patron saint La Virgen de los Desamparados, reimagining her as an active, emancipated figure through playful visual storytelling.
