Jini Kim

Jini Kim is a Korean, Rotterdam-based visual artist and graphic designer focused on generative graphics and interactive systems. Using contemporary tech, like Processing and TouchDesigner, her work examines how communication styles and spatial perception shape identity, particularly within East Asian contexts. Collaborating with dancers, she developed ASCII-inspired visual systems reflecting subtle, non-verbal codes of interaction. Drawing influence from 80s and 90s Japanese animation, she explores transformation, fantasy, and cultural nuance within intercultural dynamics.
