Marie Bally
Marie Bally is a Prague-based graphic designer drawn to bookmaking and print, with a focus on the book as an object shaped by materiality and binding. Her graduation project, The Nausea of Being, explores existential philosophy through auto-ethnography, combining text and illustration across a monochromatic silver-paper book (with a 3D-printed cover, no less). Inspired by György Kepes and Semiconductor, her work seeks intersections between art, philosophy, and science to expand graphic design’s potential and possibilities. Her work is personal and lived-in, feeling both familiar and, at the same time, intriguingly alien.
